from 1062 reviewsAbsolutely the best tea I have ever had! For fun, I tried all six of the Boston Tea Party teas at Abigail's Tea Room when we visited Boston and was immediately hooked on the Congou. With a bit of honey, I can't think of anything better. I was used to Earl Grey or herbal teas and this is completely different. It has a malty, lightly toasted toffee & spices flavor to me. Try it, you won't be disappointed!
I was surprised by this tea. I had previously only had blends, not Keemun and wasn’t expecting the lighter, fresh taste of this tea. I’ve come to love it as a first cup when I really get to sip and enjoy it. Lovely with or without a splash of milk or a hint of sugar.
Tastes like gummy bears omg
This is my go to morning tea for years. The black tea is flavorful on its own. The vanilla has a subtle, authentic taste that is complementary. I never grow tired of this particular tea.
Very smooth solid black tea
I was looking for an organic alternative to the Congou Black and this was recommended as the closest in taste. It is very smooth and has a malty taste like the Congou but not as strong. Elmwood makes the absolute best teas.
Putting aside my delight that these are the same kinds of tea that were thrown into the Boston Harbor, the variety is great. My comments on the quantity are the same as my review for the black tea sampler: enough leaf for you to figure out how you like it, and enough left over afterwards to enjoy it and decide if you want to buy more. The green teas are fantastic (the Hyson is my favorite and leaves a nice sweet aftertaste), the two more normal black teas are very stable (the Congou is my favorite, probably because it seems rather similar to Keemun, which I know I love), and the more adventurous Souchong is, well, adventurous. I was surprised to find that I honestly didn't even enjoy the Souchong that much, but I'm glad I could get it in a sampler with these other teas that I do very much enjoy. And there's plenty left over for me to try it again later once my palate is more refined.
A worthy 5 stars, as far as I'm concerned,
I am no expert, but I think this tea is real good and the price was really affordable
This deep rich tea is smooth with just the right amount of smokiness. It helps me take on the day!
This tea blend has a delicious aroma and slightly sweet smooth taste. It needs no additions, but is a treat all by itself!
My husband and I look forward to the lullaby caffeine free tea at night I feel more rested and relaxed it’s an awsome tea that was suggested by the staff as I would have been Leary to get a new tea !! Thank you!!
Purchased this tea today from a local business in Indiana. It has a beautiful aroma. Tastes great as a hot tea...currently sipping it before bedtime. I may try it iced later this week. I don't know all the proper words to describe tea, but it is fruity and floral (but not like a perfume). Enjoyed this tea without any sweetener. Will likely be purchasing again!
the best
Superb in every way.
The Wild Cherry Tea is my all time favorite flavor! Whether it's made hot or iced, it never disappoints!
